Welcome to Menter Iaith Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen and Monmouthshire’s new website. The last year has been a busy period for the Menter with extensive changes to our status and procedures. We’re now a registered charity and have adopted a new governance system. This is part of working towards PQASSO standards to ensure that we’re ready to face the challenges of working in a modern and transparent manner. We have also moved offices from St. James’ hall in Pontypool to Mamhilad Park Business Estate. There are great facilities here and huge potential to increase the use of Welsh by local businesses.
10/8/2020 - Covid-19 Update: We are aware that everyone is slowly moving towards normality. At the moment we are continuing to offer a wide range of online activities for free as well as some outdoor activities that are suitable for children, families and adults in order to use and practise their Welsh. If you would like further information about our services, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
We are now conducting several activities online. There are posters underneath this message with some information regarding these activities.
